Strange how people who write like that prefer to be rude than kind or understanding when you suggest ways they can achieve better answers @Fairygirl.
No major grumps for me other than frustration for Bonzo dog who still has to be on a lead for 5 minute excursions for leg stretching and potty breaks. Stitches out tomorrow and then 2 more weeks of no running or bouncing. We'll all be climbing the walls.
And the hunting season has started so Rasta doggy is even less keen to do walkies on her own.

I'm just mopping up the stragglers now I think. I average about 5 a night but apparently they will hibernate over the winter and get an early start on laying eggs next year so I want to get as many squished now as I can.

Forums seem to attract the lazy. You can just ask a question and let other people do the research for you. I like the research and often value the questions as much as the answers but when people are rude and expect you to have a crystal ball to hand it does get on my nerves. I've been told off too many times for winding up newbies though so I'm doing my best to be extra nice recently

Me too @wild edges. Learn loads by dipping into the RHS and other sites for how to look after a certain plant or deal with a problem and there are some great plant/weed/insect identifiers and other problem solvers in this community.

Forecast for Saturday was 6mm of rain this morning and I know I said I'd believe it when I saw it but now they're taking the p*ss. It's changed to 2.4mm. Wonderful.

You have my sympathies on the chicken herpes. I had it a few years ago and it left me feeling drained for weeks. The blisters were painful enough on my side and back but I can't imagine how bad they'd be on your face Be very careful with them, I knocked one of them and it felt like having a knife driven into my ribs.

All you need to do now is find their overwintering weevil paradise @wild edges....
