Had breakfast . Feel a bit more human now . Hairdresser is coming at lunchtime. Better get my hair washed . I like to do that myself .She thinks a Judy Dench would suit me .
Love the display outside The Peacock, Pansy .

Been in my garden and startled Mrs P who has started coming back into the garden now after a long summer break. Deadheaded the petunias. My poor clemmies are battered to bits.
PF - that is a gorgeous display outside that pub. I would like to visit that one.

Debs your plants are lovely , very lush .
Never mind LB , you still have the plant and it will probably be lovely next year.

Debs, the nemesia have stood up well to the weather unlike LB's poor clemmie.

Pansy, bright and cheerful display at the pub.

Rebecca, pleased to hear you had a good sleep. It makes a difference to how you fell the following day.

RB, I had the intention of giving the buddlejas a good cut back but noticed lots of new small flower spikes  so have just cut off the dead ones.

Bags of compost and manure being delivered from A...n sometime today.

Chive, you are not alone. My tomatoes are JUST beginning to colour up now. I had the odd one last week but now they are showing promise. I just pick them and eat them in the GH when I'm in there. Taste divine. I think Joyce is referring to that big south American river site
p.s. oops I should have turned the page over!
Ruby - you might feel a bit draughty this winter or does your hair grow quite quickly?
