Afties all. Yes Chive - rellie day. More talk about nephew's wedding in Eskdale next month. Organisation skills of said nephew and his fiancée 0/10. Bunfight and bakery come to mind.
Oh poor you Joyce, that is the last thing you need this time of year. I do hope that your neighbour is able to find out the cause. Fingers crossed it is just the sealing around the Velux window.
Hazel, how old is your iPad as eventually batteries do pack in working efficiently. I am not familiar with iPads but do they have Apps? If they do, check that the Apps are not running in the background as that can use up the battery. It does sound to be a drastic drop as you only charged it fully yesterday. I've sent a pm with some links that may help but T'Bird has given some excellent advice.

LB how lovely a wedding to look forward.  I hope there is sunshine.  I haven't been to Eskdale but sounds lovely.  Joyce I hope it is soon sorted next week.  I did briefly see some sunshine but it has disappeared asxquickly as it arrived.  Just had another shower forgetting to remove my watch but thankfully it's survived.  Watching the athletics.

    Good evening everyone.
I'm finally finished with some unmentionable things in and around the house. My cousin also went half an hour ago. He wasn't very happy but  I don't care. He told me that he is free till 19. August and I told that I'm not. It's over now.
Very hot and sunny here and tomorrow will be the same.

Joyce sorry to hear about your leak problem. Hope so that will be repaired soon.

Evening Ante. Well done you for ejecting the cheeky cousin. Perhaps he might THINK the next time and be a bit more polite by asking first.

    Hi LB.
I doubt about that. But finally a little bit peace in the house.
You also had a interesting day with rellies.

It was interesting Ante. My nephew and his fiancée 'forgot' to send out all the details about what is actually happening at the wedding so noone knew - not even his Mum and Dad (one of my brothers) were aware of all the information. Hilarious! We'll muddle along until 21st September and hopefully all will just fall seamlessly into place.

Maybe they are so excited and forgot to do that. Luckily he has a more that capable aunt. 😊

It could be their excitement that carried them away Ante but my nephew is so laid back he's horizontal and never seems to worry about anything.
