    Good morning everyone.
Whole day yesterday I spent in my cottage garden. There was so much work to do. But I slept very well last night and now Im like new person.
Must say, Thanks to good soul who sent me rain It's so different now. At monday temperature was 38 and now is cloudy, rainy and perfect 22 degrees.
I'll read all posts which I missed yesterday.

Chey and MU glad to see you. 👋

LB what a nice surprise in your small pot. You are official mushroom grower.😄

Now a few photos. It's a sad day in my house and neighborhood. They all knew that now is veggie week.

    Peppers are small but tasty.

This pretty boy is 3 m high. Birds will have seeds for winter.

    One more dahlia.

Sorry if my post is to long.

Good morning everybody. Dobro jutro Ante. I've just had a catch up and loved the tale of the satin sheets PF. Once in the far distant past, when I thought it would be the 'thing' and very cool, I bought a black satin sheet set for my bed. The duvet slid off everywhere during the night requiring constant disturbance as I woke and stretched to retrieve it. The pillows shot out from under my head with the same reaction as the duvet retrieval. The very worst thing though, as I was impecunious at the time, was that they were not Egyptian 1000 thread count cotton but cheapo polyester and they made one hot and sweaty and were therefore NOT cool in both meanings of the word. After one week of hideous nights they were washed and consigned to the Charity Shop.

    Morning PF and LB.
12 is pretty chilly but I would take it for a few day just to take a break of heat. Relax and stay in.

Ante - your posts are NEVER too long and we love hearing everyone's gardening tales. I have this picture in my head of your neighbours circling round your fields like vultures, waiting to pounce on the veggies. Your veggie pictures always make me feel hungry. Beautiful sunflower and dahlia too.
Ay up Chive - off to Amsterdam? You are a tad early for the tulips. Don't you be visiting the wacky baccy (marijuana Ante) shops. If we get any weird posts from you we will all know what you have been up to.

When they see me they always take a short walk nearby. It's never a problem, they don't go inside when I'm not there.

Chive-Amsterdam sounds suspicious🍪. LB might be on the right track. 😂

    Morning🙂

Pansy - hilarious - so many pictures of you and Mr M in bed in my head just now - and it’s only 8am🤨🤣
Seriously though - I really like the better quality Dorma sheets which I can usually get for a good price at sale time from Dunelm if there’s one near you. Super king size about £35 - £45 at sale time. Not sure about fitted ones though - don’t have those - I can never fold them up properly.

Good to see you MU. It’s lovely to hear you’re having fun playing with the dollies - is your museum open year round? All gardens get a bit raggedy at this time of year. Another few weeks and you’ll be able to just have one mahoosive clear up. What a cheery thought!

Enjoy Amsterdam Chive. Love the Van Gogh museum and the Indonesian restaurants.

Think today will be mostly about paperwork and holiday planning as we may finally be getting some proper rain - hurrah - all day - double hurrah! Also quite a bit cooler and less humid - lovely. OH has got his PPL flight instructor’s hat on today but I suspect he may be home quite a bit earlier than normal. They don’t fly the little Cessnas in bad weather.

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
