I took a tiny cutting from one of my pelargoniums earlier this year. It has grown well but look what is emerging from the compost. Whats that all about?!
I wonder where that mushroom popped up from.

When I first looked at your plant pot . I thought you had a potato in there .🤔

I only spotted it this morning. It certainly looks like a little new potato. I'll take further pictures as it develops.

OMG😱 - I think it's an alien's egg. When it hatches there will be 2 aliens emerge. They will mate and each produce an egg each which in turn will each produce another pair of aliens. Average incubation time is 1 week. By this time next year they will have over run the planet. They can kill a human with a laser stare of their left eye.

Only way to protect yourself is to cover a colander in aluminium foil, stick a wire coat hanger in it and put it on your head. That will deflect the deadly rays away from your brain.

...or it could be a mushroom...

    Afternoon!

Had the dentist at 14:30 and I'm still numb which is annoying cause there's a delicious looking sandwich on my desk..

Hazel - I have just posted on your thread. It cannot be that one as that is not hardy in the UK and oop North where you are it would not survive. I think it is Adiantum venustum.

Hey Chey. Good to see you. It will soon wear off then the sandwich will be doubly delicious.
