Just caught up - still haven't got my laptop back.
Congratulations Lyn, Lily Eve looks gorgeous.
I'm happy tonight because fencing chap has just finished the remaining fencing. There's just the small matter of sorting out what goes where now - lots of re-arranging to be done. My birthday presie - a bright blue Sentry Shed, has also been delivered so next week promises to be busy!
@Dovefromabove I'm hoping it works cos he's only 9 or 10 yrs old and loves to run.  I will ask about hoomans and theirs.  Rasta has been on arthritis meds for a month now for a dodgy hip that makes her limp occasionally but also her leg tremble. She is so much better she's now on half a dose a day so I wonder why they can't give that stuff to hoomans. Running round like a puppy again.
@Hostafan1 It's excellent value for money given all the fun we have with our critters.  This is the first big op we've had to fund. Cats are much cheaper and it's all far cheaper here and in Belgium than in the UK.  We're just starting to pay the same prices for annual jabs as when we left the UK in 1991. Â
Isn't your OH back tomorrow @Busy-Lizzie?  Or have I got my days mixed up? We've been busy cleaning too cos Possum has a friend arriving tomorrow for a week's holiday. For some reason she's bought a train ticket to La Rochelle and I don't get a fun trip there tomorrow either as I have a committee meeting in Les Sables. The last time I was there was for my MRI scan in June.
Havent enjoyed yer a meal so much since a few years ago when we were, for various reasons, just the two of us for Christmas Day ... so we had a grilled lobster each ... cuts down on the washing up đ€ŁÂ
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I do love lobster but even here it's expensive and I actually prefer crab but don't know how to manage one - dead man's fingers and all that. I shall find a cookery course one day, I hope. We had mafaldine, one of our favourite pastas, with very garlicky fresh tomatoes and prawns and a hint of chili.  It would have been a smack but the chilies, decribed as hot, were subtle.
Yes, Obelixx, you are right, OH is coming home tomorrow, but latish, I will meet him from the station in the evening. He is flying to Bordeaux. Our usual Stansted/Bergerac is very expensive and booked up at this time of year.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hi everyone. Itâs taken my ages to read back, lots of new from you all. Congrats on gorgeous baby, Lyn. Obelixx, what a lot of interesting things from you. Iâm not familiar with princess seams, but maybe we call them something else here. Wouldnât be surprised. Talking about peopleâs heights etc, I think the farmers around here must have been giants. Some people I see in town are well over 6 foot, including the females. Hubby and I are mid 5 feet. Â Iâm glad your dogs are being looked after by a good vet. Hubby managed a good sleep last night for a change - from 3 til 8. Itâs the best heâs managed for several months.Â

Congratulations @Lyn beautiful baby.
I hope Bonzo's treatment works and he feels like a new dog.
It's been a quiet day here, HW, ironing.
