The rain has all gone here. Strangely enough , NOT, not as much as had been forecast.
What! I think you should move a bit closer to me if you want rain! only about 10 miles as the crow flys between us. Look what we’ve got for the coming week. this is no different to any other year though, kids break up, wether changes, always has been wet through August. it will be a nice September so Dove will be ok😀

Congratulations @Lyn she's beautiful. Enjoy your cuddles.
Cool and cloudy here, haven't been in the garden, spending the day relaxing. Mum is back in the home and Gabriel is well, so thankfully we are back to normal. Hope everyone out there is well.
Hello everyone. Haven’t looked in today. Will try to catchup tomorrow. We are feeding our friends cat while they are away, so I’ve had some soft smoogy cuddles today. It was nice and sunny, as well. Her name is Venus. Night all.
Afternoon all. Day off here but had a few errands to run plus the roofer has (finally) started work on the garage roof. Have a chicken roasting for warm rolls later. Hope everyone is ok. Congratulations to @Lyn ‘s family. I am doing a holiday cat-sit (well visit and feed) too @Pat E.
Congratulations @Lyn and family. Lovely news and lovely baby and lovely name.
Expensive day here. Bonzo has been to the vet osteo who says his cruciate ligament is torn and he ahs a bit of arthritis too. That's two of us needing new knees then. She's also manipukated his head, neck, spine, right shoulder and paw (cos dogs do things diagonally like horses) and had a good firkle round his belly region. It seems his diaphragm was in knots so she's freed that up and released the pressure on his liver and kidneys and eased his spine. He was very good for all of that, even the painful bits.
Once OH got home from golf I gave him the good news and Bonzo is now booked for admission to a specialist orthopedic vet's clinic in La Rochelle on the 22nd, our wedding anniversary. Being August and French holiday period he can't be done any earlier. That'll be circa 1700€ for Bonzo and too far to drive home after a festive dinner so quiet dinner at home for us, probably bread and water! He'll be fixed on the 23rd and we can fetch him on the 24th so 2 trips to La Rochelle with no time to play.
I'm off to clean some windows on the east side now the sun's gone round and ponder sending OH out to work.

Hello all 😊. We had a lovely day at Cromer ... a walk along the prom, drinks at the theatre bar on the pier, chips on the beach in the sunshine 😋 and we’ve bought a lobster home with us for supper 😎
Now to find out what’s been going on here ...
