Some cloud here but the only rain is up in Brittany.   While no-one's looking, I have been out early to water the pots we didn't get under cover yesterday.  They can go in when OH gets back from golf as I need the extra muscle power.

Congrats @Chicky.   Looks like you had a lovely day for it.

Hope all is well @Pat and that progress is good.

@Hostafan1 - hope the cold isn't too severe.  Well done for not having man flu.

I'm off to wake up the Possum person so she can help me move furniture in, I hope, a non stormy fashion.

Well hello to everyone hope you are all keeping well. Not been on for a while we got back from our 8 day Rhine river cruise last Thursday then had a 2 day blitz of garden & Allotment then off to Norfolk to see friends there. Didn't post in early July as we were busy before we went. Got it all to catch up with again now but like others have got up (late on parade I know) to wet so will be picking veg in the wet later.

Thanks everyone for good wishes to us. We’re ok, but tired. Last chemo next Tuesday, then we’ll see what happens. More scans to see if the treatment has worked.

hope your cold/flu gets better soon Hosta.

Just enjoying a burst of heavier rain here when l noticed a pigeon on next door's roof having a shower in the rain. It was raising each wing in turn to make sure it washed its "armpits". I don't recall ever having seen them do that before. Normally they just sit there looking miserable when it rains on them.

Brilliant, steephill. Did he have any soap?  :D

You get about a bit @Allotment Boy  :D
Hope you had a nice time when you were away.
Fingers crossed for next week and beyond, Pat. It seems to have come round very quickly, but that's easy for  me to say.
I spoke too soon about it being a bit brighter - it teemed down for half an hour. One of those 'showers' they say we're getting today. The shed roof is doing it's job well though.

@steephill I remember watching a woodie washing its armpits under a lawn sprinkler at work some years ago ... since then I’ve seen it a few more times ... it looks so funny 😂
