4 more vine weevils sacrificed to the shoe gods this evening. There's no end to them
In more positive news I managed to get the new greenhouse frame unloaded and built on my own in just a couple of hours this afternoon. Between dodging showers and having to help with the kids I'm pleased to have got anything done at all. Now I need to clean all the glass during the week ready to get it fitted next weekend. I don't want it partially glazed with the gusty wind we've been having.

My left leg has swollen up to the size of my thigh. Fipping clegs / horseflies, / flowerbugs / ticks / partially-decomposed blackberry cuttings or whatever it was.
12 vine weevils tonight. It looks like there's a good population on the lupins and I hadn't been checking those. I went over the lupins twice and found slugs already munching the dead weevils on my second time around so that answers that question anyway.
