4 more vine weevils sacrificed to the shoe gods this evening. There's no end to them :|

In more positive news I managed to get the new greenhouse frame unloaded and built on my own in just a couple of hours this afternoon. Between dodging showers and having to help with the kids I'm pleased to have got anything done at all. Now I need to clean all the glass during the week ready to get it fitted next weekend. I don't want it partially glazed with the gusty wind we've been having.

Sounds like you'd better get it looked at @Reluctant_Gardener. It sounds a bit extreme for an ordinary bite.

I've just knocked a marble fridge magnet off the door and it's smashed. Bought it from a stall near the Taj Mahal.
    V grumpy indeed.

Look on the bright side ... it didn’t smash a floor tile ... or did it? 😉

the floor tiles are inch thick slate, mercifully, it'd take a big chunk of marble to break one of them.

Haven't you got a significant anniversary coming up with hubby planning a trip?  Go and get another one, or a new memory.

I'm lucky enough to have visited the Taj Mahal twice but it was just a nice memory from our first visit there.

I've lost my appetite for long haul flights.

12 vine weevils tonight. It looks like there's a good population on the lupins and I hadn't been checking those. :#  I went over the lupins twice and found slugs already munching the dead weevils on my second time around so that answers that question anyway.
