I am so annoyed! I live down a private lane with one other house further down. Access road is just dirt. But as it is a shortcut to somewhere there is a bit of foot traffic.  For the best part of 20 years I have undertaken to keep the lane free from weeds, broken bottles etc. Talking to my neighbour today (rare occurrence - long story) and she insists the council are responsible for putting down weedkiller etc. I cannot understand why some people expect other people ie cash strapped councils to do something that would take half an hour twice a year , to keep tidy!!! Honestly!!!!

Many people no sense of ownership or pride in their surroundings. I remember my husband telling me that once when he was on nights, he saw a young thug tipping out the contents of the dustbins outside a block of flats. When he had finished his task, he went home into a flat in the same block!

    Just realised! 🙄

I put the 4.5 tog summer duvet on our bed the other day ... that’s why the weather’s changed isn’t it? ... it’s all my fault 😭

I've been sleeping under a 4.5 tog duvet for the last couple of years - and still too hot! We're hard as nails up here in the north!

Still remember living in Hull and girls in party dresses queueing outside in the winter to get in to discoes etc. No coats. Even the blokes in short sleeved shirts. It was all a bit of a shock to me!

I was walking through town with my wife after the panto last December and girls were outside a local club in miniskirts. My wife joked that they were going to catch their death dressed like that but I told her you can't die from chlamydia :#
