    The Coffee-pathy worked ☕️ 👍
    Now we’re showered and
buffed and looking respectable ... just a load of washing to put in the machine, another coffee to drink then I’ll head off to tennis 🎾 ...

At the end of our road there is a T junction right is up to the farm, left down to main road. Noticed a lot of Police activity yesterday pm,  at a house almost opposite the end of our road. More police there today. Went online to check local paper, it seems we had a cannabis factory there 3 arrested. Had no idea we were in such a dodgy area :/.  Mind you the rents some of the houses go for round here you probably need that kind of income to afford them.

‘They’ often site cannabis farms in ‘nice’ areas @Allotment Boy .. folk tend to keep themselves to themselves and there’s usually fewer police about in the area to spot suspicious goings on.

So cold here, I put the heating on. Not even in double figures overnight. I hope that spanish plume comes this way soon. I still have a load of dahlias to get in.  I picked a jug full of raspberries earlier, to have with cream, but a lot are going over with getting wet.

Shattered tonight. Didnt sleep well last night, and only partly because the cats were chasing a moth in the bedroom at 4am 🙄
Kettle on for a decaf cuppa now, then will choose a podcast to fall asleep too.

Same here AR except it was a mouse before dawn and I couldn't get back to sleep.   Feeling weary now.   Been indoors most of the day keeping cool and have done lots of admin plus a raid on the SM.  Who's a good girl?

The dogs gave been flopped out on cool floor tiles most of the day and the cats are hiding under shady shrubs.

One year one of the research stations at Gemblous grew a trial crop of hemp next to the road to our village.  They ended up having to fence it and put signs up saying it was being grown for its fibres and wasn't "smokable".
