Thank you obelixx, good luck to you, have been diagnosed with arthritus hands, fingers, wrists, and De Quervains disease, (wearing metal splints)and can honestly say, having had 3 frozen shoulders, (who knew I have THREE shoulders) many magor abdo op, this is the worst, because you absolutely need your hands for everything. Dove, no bruises, a cut by my eye, its blooming ironic, because I am sooh careful people think I am hilarious, its because I worked in the ED for some years, made me super aware, (or neurotic a lot say!) I have about 20 orchids, you cant remove the sticks, have never seen cane oppers that size, I carry the outside in fine rain to get a watering because it takes so long, well, everything takes so long at the moment, I need to deside on visiting the toilet about 30 minutes before I need it. Dove "muggy" havent heard that word for a long time, people tend to say the weather is "close" I always think close to what. But at my age, I hate that words now dont mean what they used to like pants!
Bless you @punkdoc ((hugs)). The poor lad needs some ‘proper friends’. 👍
Well good morning everyone 😊 ☕️
I too was up in the night ... we had a surprise visit from son yesterday evening. He works with Talvin Singh who was headlining at the First Light festival near here. As Talvin performed at noon and was due on stage again at sunrise around 4 am ... they'd got rooms booked but there’d been a confusion and they were one short ... rather than bunk up with Talvin and neither of them get any sleep, and as we’re not that far away, son came and crashed here ... he snuck out at 1:30 to go back to work but of course I woke ... 😆 🙄

Morning all/afties Pat. doc - perhaps that's why the neighbour is so obnoxious. You're clearly a 'threat' because the boy turns to you for support, not him. Not many folk would do what you've done, but I don't expect you'll get any thanks. Is the mother any better, or is she stuck between a rock and a hard place?
Another overcast day here. Yesterday's sun didn't last long, although it reappeared in the evening, but I doubt it'll make an appearance at all today. Thinking of heading to do a wee hill further south, as the forecast is looking good later in the week for bigger adventures. Save some lemon tart for me Obs. Yum yum
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all. Just catching up on posts since Friday... Belated Happy Birthday Pat, Congratulations Chicklet. Hope all the folk with injuries and pains are ok today. Punk - I hope that lad appreciates your care and attention last night. Have a good day everyone- a few hours before the rain and thunder comes, so going to feed and weed the grass and do a few other bits before the curfew.
Funny thing was, because I’d woken when he left id gone down and locked the back door (there’s no spare key to that one). We’d told him not to bother locking it ... anyway when I woke at around 7:30 and used the bathroom, as soon as I flushed the loo the phone rang ... he’d been sitting in the garden for an hour watching our birds waiting for us to wake ... 😂
The plan had been for him and Talvin to share a room after the gig because the quality of sleep wouldn’t have been so important ... but Talvin’s partner had turned up so son had come back here to sleep ... he’s snoring gently in the spare room ... I must wake him at 11:30 ... don’t let me forget ...

That sounds a great way to spend a day Chicky. I have some of last year's babies to pot on or plant out on Tuesday. Whole day patch tomorrow and then mosaic. I shall be cream-crackered tomorrow evening.
Enjoy your hills FG. Sorry Dove, I'll be busy as guests arrive then.
