Good morning all  :) ☕️ G’day Pat 😊  hope the trip was ok and that you’re both home with your feet up now. 😊
Its an overcast morning here in Norfolk ... very still
and quite warm ... I think we may be in for more storms.

Morning all/afties Pat. Hope you're both cosy. I thought the same as you about that post. It seemed very random, and I actually thought it was spam at first until I saw that the poster had a few hundred posts. Totally agree with you doc too.
Good to see you Liri, I was wondering where you were . Glad you had good fun skip filling  :D
Rainy here, especially through the night, and some more to come, so glad I got a few more bits and pieces done yesterday afternoon, including washing, which dried in a couple of hours as it was so windy. Like chicky, I did a fair bit of snipping. Very satisfying.  :)
Physio this morning to check my progress.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Hi all.
Foggy and humid here, expecting thunder storms for next 2 days.
Not sure what happened, with regards to that post @Pat E, hope I managed to convince them of the error of their ways.

Thanks for your moral support folks. It’s best forgotten now, I think.

Home from our medical trip, thank goodness, and progress on Hubby’s problem is progressing as everyone hoped. Still early days yet.  I nodded off on the way home and flopped on the sofa when 5.30pm.😳 luckily the Community Driver chatted to Hubby while I did my thing.

Glad things are going according to plan @Pat E ((hugs)) 🤞

Just dashed to the village for milk, cheese, lettuce and washing stuff. That’s the time to go to the supermarket ... the place was almost empty ... but they’re out of stock of the cheaper ‘cooking’
gruyere 😢 hope it’s just a blip and not a sign of ‘things to come’ 😦

Good luck with your shopping Dove. Because our town is a bit isolated from bigger centres, we often find similar problems. We just have to make do. 😏

grey damp and mild here. No sign of the kestrel this morning so I took a picture of NewDog instead (poor compensation, I know but I had the camera in my hand and someone did ask). Black dogs are fiendishly hard to photograph

We're not sure who's ears they are, but we're pretty confident he won't grow into them

@Obelixx he's awful on the lead at the moment - ragging it every 5 minutes, especially walking in long grass. A work in progress. Clearly he's not been walked regularly. On the upside, his recall is really good, so we'll hopefully be letting him off lead in a little while.

And I also managed to get a pic of a bee visiting a poppy

and my 'bonus' opium poppies - single reds this year. I get what I'm given with these, but I always like them.

    Flippin’ sticky out there 😓

Ive been clearing up after the broad beans and planting the tomatoes out in their place ... but there’s hardly any air ...

Just heard a massive crash outside, rushed out to find, a huge branch had come off one of the Beeches in the wooded area. Luckily has not damaged the wall that separates us from the road, but has demolished several Rhodes and other plants.
Think it might be an expensive job.
