They’ve only themselves to blame ... problem is, as always, it’s the rest of us that’ll suffer 😢

But not talking about that here ... far too depressing ...

Methinks there are none of them, on either side who wont cock things up for us all.

Let’s celebrate National Windrush Day ... something that has contributed an inestimable amount of good to this country and folk to whom we owe a huge amount 🥂

Good idea Dove.   It's warm and sunny here and very busy with 3 doggies vying for attention and a piggy.   I'm off to the station later to send Possum on her way and then patch exhibition duties.   There's some stunning work in there.  So much to learn......

Chicky - great news.  Congratulations to Chicklet and proud ma and pa.

Saw that forecast Busy-Lizzie.   I don't want that much scorchio here but some warm sun would be good.   I feel very pale and wan and want to get some gardening done too before I head off to Belgium in early July.  OH has been weeding when I've not been looking so heaven knows what tresaures he's pulled up.

Hope you're OK today NannyB.   You too Pat and anyone else with hurties.

I have my MRI results.   Not pretty.  "gonathrose tricompartimentale" which sounds like an STD but is just a very thorough dose of arthritis in all parts, plus a crack in the meniscus and a dodgy tendon or two.   Humph!  No wonder that pendulum step in quickstep was so bloody painful/impossible.

    Monring all/afties Pat  :)
Congrats to chicklet - a fantastic achievement! Just rewards for her hard work chicky. A little break for her now hopefully?
That sounds a bit hideous Obelixx. Do you take any pain relief, or is that no use?
I couldn't do that heat either. Lovely looking day here and for tomorrow too, before the disruption forecast for Monday. Intended walking today, but tomorrow is about the same, and after a lousy night's sleep, I think I'll wait! Some gardening can be done instead.
If we're looking at nice stories, instead of the depressing ones, there's an 81 yr old woman completing the cycle from Land's End to John o' Groats today, after some horrible personal grief, and what about wee fat Elton and his Legion d'Honneur? Who'd a thunk eh?  :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Hi all.

    Fantastic news about chicklet.
I am just grateful that medical degrees are not graded.

Many knees provided are not fit for purpose 😤

OH is at work ... his new  toweling robe is in the wash as the forecast for line drying is good, and honey and walnut bread dough is proving ... now for  another ☕️

Thanks LG. It’s been very quiet, but we are having a nice fish dinner tonight. Should be good.
