@Lily Pilly amazing colour - you should be proud of those. very difficult things to grow. And Talla looks to be happy again  :)

@Pat E Marvellous photo. Not had a clear sky here to see the moon for ages.

@Hostafan1 On the rainfall maps, there's stripe of lower rainfall running from Exeter up to you and to the coast. I assume it's Dartmoor's rain shadow, stronger than normal this year - probably a shift in wind patterns. We don't have a lake, but we do have a very large unlined 'pond' (ditch) and a smaller lined pond next to it. The smaller one was supposed to be a wildlife pond but it's a fat Fail at the moment for various reasons, so I need to redo it. One problem being it leaks, but at the moment so much water is overflowing from the ditch that the lined pond is full to overflowing as well, leaks notwithstanding. So we've definitely had some rain.

@Obelixx @Busy-Lizzie thanks for the good wishes for our 'pup'. He's asleep at the moment......

Working today. Showers expected. Hope you all have as good a Monday as Mondays can be. Catch you later

    Lovely photo of Talla LilyP.
Glad you like the moon shot, Raisingirl. My phone camera doesn’t handle those types of photos very well.

    Morning all.

We slept very well, were knackered.

We are off to an SM and a GC.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Right ... decisions have been made and OH and I have assembled our wardrobes for StepWomble’s wedding next month. We will look fabulous 💃🕺
Bread is proving, second load is in the machine and I’m just having another ☕️ and preparing to tackle the grouting in the kitchen floor with the steam cleaner ... it’s a kneeling job as it’s only a handheld cleaner so I may need some help getting up after doing it ... good job OH is here today 😆

Morning all!   :)  Hi Pat!  Lovely moon pic...

I'm intrigued reading about your dogs educating each other.  Presumably it's because they're pack animals, so one of them will be top dog?  Is the top dog always the first one you own?  Or are YOU top dog, and they all do what you say???

Such frustrating weather.  Still not managed to cut the grass - being shady and sheltered it doesn't dry very quickly.  Forecast suggests tomorrow may be dry... when I have to be out all day...   :|

Beautiful meconopsis, @Lily Pilly.  Mine have snuffed it - got too hot last summer, I think.  I kept them watered, but I think their reaction to temperatures as high as 30 was the same as mine.  They were lovely while they lasted though!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Not for the first time am I wondering at the mentality of the man (yes I know it was a man) who chose to grout the slate coloured ceramic floor tiles in our kitchen with a white grout 🤯
