Cheers Dove.   I'm on parade and enjoying a coffee too.  I'm up early too and planning to head down the PT and start clearing bindweed roots before it gets too very hot in there.   8am and it's already 21C outdoors in the sun.

The only hedgehog we've seen here died so must have been too sick, or old, despite my feeding him.

    Hello @Lily Pilly

Dont know whether @Steve the Gardening Vet is around and he probably wouldn’t want to advise without seeing the dog ... is Talla poorly? ☹️

This is site says it should only be used if advised by the vet

Morning all. I have had an indulgent lie in, listening to the rain kindly watering the garden.
Not seen (or heard) any hedgehogs yet this year - bit disappointing.
    Have a pleasant Sunday everyone.

Gosh, I woke up as well because of the heat early this morning Dove, but it didn't occur to me to go outside - I'm impressed. I'm kicking myself because it was dry and sunny by 8 a.m. As soon as I got outside at 11 ish, it rained.

Dove.  I thinkTallas upset may just be being back at home.  She is eating a lot of grass.
and being reintroduced to the wonders of the wood.  She is not allowed in the field so it’s not sheep poo

oh you lucky people basking in sunshine, I can’t soo the hill for the mist!

Glad it doesn’t seem too serious @Lily Pilly 😊.

Ive had to come back indoors ... it’s too hot to work out there in the sun ... it’s 28.4 in the shade here ... I’ve got to plant the last of the plants @WonkyWomble raised for me ... hopefully it’ll be a bit cooler in an hour or so ...

This owl has been sheltering here since we opened up 5 hours ago
his chicks must have fledged as he is obviously not on catering duties!   We have lots of owls here but I have never seen one so low or so close to the house!
