    Yikes  :o

It's cleared here  now, so I should really shift my butt and get outside.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I’m sewing on buttons. OH bought a black shirt with white buttons ... he wants black buttons ... 😊

When we both worked I showed OH where the needles and threads live.   I'll sew him a shirt - or shorts, trousers, jacket, coat - and mend many things but he replaces his own buttons.

He’s quite capable ... he grew up in a family where there was no division of labour along gender lines ... but today he’s been out there mowing the lawn and trimming the edges ... I reckon it’s a fair deal 👍 especially as I quite like sewing 😊

That's OK then.  Mine is also out there strimming and weeding and pruning.   I've had to come and look up the destructions for the latest patchwork homework..........  So long since the class I've forgotten.

Since it’s a nice sunny day today, I decided to pull some long overdue weeds out. I found carrots under the oregano. 😊

Oops! Not sure how tasty they’ll be.😳

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Hello @Pat E ... id put them in a stew with some onions and beans ... or even a soup ... 😋
There’s wall to wall blue sky out there ... I’d forgotten what it looked like!  It won’t last... they’re promising rain this afternoon ... but at least the veg will enjoy the sunshine this morning 😎

Yes, thanks Dove. Id thought that might work, so will try it tomorrow. Too late for tonight’s tea.

I’ve got some carrots to use up ... I’m going to put them in the slow cooker  with lots of sliced onion, some mushrooms, a dollop of red wine and some thyme underneath a piece of beef brisket, rubbed with mustard and black pepper. I’ll add some Charlotte potatoes halfway through so they soak up the flavour. Lots of broad beans in the garden so we’ll have those too. 😋

That’d be good Dove, except Hubby’s taste buds won’t allow those things at this time. 😝
