Good morning all, good afternoon Pat and OH on the veranda with a stunning view!
It's been a very busy time here, wedding last minute panic organising for step daughters big day next month. Groom was in charge of suits. We warned him the reason his bride to be has gorgeous long legs is because of her Dad and good luck getting moss bross to provide a 38" inside leg! He assured us it would be fine! We got a message yesterday saying that the pair that were two inches too short should be fine!!!! 🙄for him maybe! So a last minute rush to find a suit that goes with the hipsters look! Now jusT have to find something for me, I'm thinking steel toe caps, jeans and gardening gloves with a grubby t shirt! 😉 So much to do in the garden!! Been raining for weeks, a lot to catch up on! Gonna have a second coffee and read back! 😀
Can someone tell my OH that Nude Gardening day has gone😱
Should have swallowed my mouthful of tea before I read that Morning all/afties Pat. Lovely pic. Hope you've both had a decent day in the sun Pooter kept switching itself off yesterday so I've only had a quick skim back.Glad you had a great hol Liri. Beautiful photos, as always. Good to see your little visitors are still doing well, steephill. No gardening going on here, nothing's really growing very fulsomely anyway. Too cold still. I doubt the sweet peas will be very impressive this year. Oh well. Hardly the end of the world. Plenty of other stuff out there that gets on by itself. Still waiting for the roof men to come. At least the rain has been a bit less hefty this week, so no more leaks. Rubbish forecasts for hill pursuits though, so I may get a bit stir crazy this week.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
We’ve been dashing around the city picking up a parcel from the Sorting Office and hunting for black shirt buttons ... who’d have thought gets be so hard to find? Got home to find the little leanto greenhouse lid had come crashing down on my toms and snapped a Sungold in half 😭.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
