Morning all, hello Pat. Sitting with my feet up watching the rain pouring down outside. We were able to scoot down to the local shop to get the paper before it hammered down. As the garden really needs it and I need a rest after all my digging and bucket carrying for soil disposing the last week, I don't mind today.

Still dry here ... must just pop the morning glories in the big pot ... then it can rain 😊

I'm off to visit my son 1 in a minute, for the weekend. Granddaughters are in their dance school show tomorrow. 5 hour drive.

I hadn't sown my Morning Glories so last week I stuck 4 seeds in one of the large pots with climbing wires against a wall and they are all up.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Evening all. In bed and not long for sleep 😴😊.

The evening meal went ok tonight with no ugly pulled faces and “yuk” comments. I had bought pork ribs which I cut into individual ribs, sprinkled ground black pepper on them and a little butter in the pan. (Salt brings on an ugly face). On low temp and with a lid on the frying pan. Slowly cooked themselves. Hubby managed to eat 3 ribs - a bit of a record lately. For the vegs, I steamed them as usual (peas, beans, cauli, potato) as I always do, except as an extra incentive I put some frozen corn kernels in the butter pan with the ribs. Not bad!
His next Chemo session is next Tuesday, so it’ll be back to chicken.

    Night all.😴😴

We passed a nursery on the way to hospital in Taunton this morning, so it seemed rude not to stop on the way home.

Who'd have thought? 11 varieties which I don't have. Hurrah.
