That looks cracking @Fairygirl - good to blow the cobwebs away!
We had plenty of rain last week really but hey-ho - that’s wet Wales for you.

Yes - we've had more than plenty too, so a couple of decent days is nice  :)

It's a hill I love [An Caisteal] but it was 'somewhat squelchy' en route to the ridge  :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Glad you had a good day @Fairygirl
Wet all day here ... not torrential but real penetrating rain.
I used the indoor time up do some really enjoyable polishing ... proper waxing and buffing of antique furniture, oiling of contemporary stuff and and treating of leather with renovating balm ... then I got the polisher out and buffed the floor ... very rewarding and the house smells wonderful.
Sausage, bacon and sauerkraut with apple for supper 😋

I love the smell of polishes and wax. I have an almond oil wood floor cleaner which is gorgeous.
Shame it’s too cloudy for planet-spotting tonight. The full moon might have come early though, as the cats are bonkers tonight!

Did OH keep moving around in case he got waxed and buffed too, Dove?
Maybe he would have enjoyed that though..... ;)

After filling the bird feeders he spent most of the day in the studio ... very happy 👍

We've got the heavy rain now with thunder and lightning ⛈  ... I’m snuggling down with a good book ... sweet dreams everyone 🛌 🐑 🐑 🐑

Hello everyone. It’s sunny this morning, but I can see areas of frost that haven’t melted away yet. 🥶. I’m home alone, as they say, because Hubby is in town having his next dose of chemo.

I’ve got a cardio test this afternoon. The Dr is trying to work out why I’m breathless all the time. Have already had a chest X-ray and a session at a breathing machine without any clues. She does remind me that I used to smoke until 1974 - as if I don’t remember. I still can’t work out why there is a poster on her wall advising smokers to stop so that the lungs can heal themselves.😳. It might be something to do with a number 79 birthday being a couple of weeks away, though. (Shakes head).

I might just just have a little wander around town in the sun while I have the chance, though.

Love the hill photo Fairy. I’m glad you had the chance to get there.

Heavy rain in the night but I hardly noticed it  ... very odd dream about a new supermarket chain called Leyton Orient setting up in competition with Tesco 🤷‍♀️

Hope the tests are clear Pat - Or find something nice and treatable.  Hubby has now passed the half way mark on his treatment, so hope that light at the end of the tunnel is beginning to gleam faintly 🤞🏻

Great hill picture Fairy - lovely to see those panoramas without having to climb myself 😀

Had a great day in London on Sunday - Sorolla exhibition well worth a visit if you’re in the area.  Then discovered many nooks and crannies along Fleet Street and the Strand, plus many places that Dickens lived, slept, drank in, wrote about in his books etc.  Mr Dickens certainly made himself at home round there 🕺🏻

On a train into London for work now - not quite the same 😵
