    I was not suggesting that you put your address on here. If you had lived within a reasonable distance from me we  could have, maybe, made some arrangement. I am sorry if l gave you the wrong impression.

    What's all this talk of charging at the tip?

    do some councils do that?

    Im in East Yorkshire and while businesses need a permit if they're bringing waste to the tip, everyone else can bring as much as they like.

    I've taken several full cars worth of rubble sacks to the tip on the same day and it's not been an issue. Ours is only 5 minutes away which is really handy when doing major work in the garden.

    We had a lot to get rid of because the previous owners had three large raised beds - waist height - for vegetables that took up a huge chunk of the garden and we wanted a large border instead. I've then subsequently removed most of the paved path around the edge of the garden to create a second border so had slabs, hardcore and some turfy soil.

    Lucky you 😊. The majority of councils have recently introduced charges for the disposal of rubble/DIY waste etc. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
