Nice to see familar people are still posting and this thread is still going strong. Just debating whether to go to  plot. We were given 2 extra days leave due to COVID I'm taking one today. I'm not as near to the allotment due to moving house. 🙂

Decided as I need the room inside planted the potatoes, after giving the bed a dig over. Also have potato bags of new potatoes planted. Now will have room to do the flower seeds I have planned.

Keep the soil well over them, if the tips get frosted you will lose them!

Yesterday I sowed a tray of leeks, some chard, spinach, wild rocket. In the beds I sowed a row of radish and land cress. The beds have warmed well under old double glazed units

The potatoes get their cover back on @Allotment Boy at this time of year, and it only gets removed when I see shoots coming up. As you say it's too cold for the soil to be uncovered. 🙂

At last I have planted the new Raspberry canes,  I did tell one of my fellow plotholders,  that you are supposed to wait 2 weeks,  to allow the soil to settle when you make a new bed. That's my excuse & I'm sticking to it. 😄
