Thank you for the information about Brunnera - that's great to know (doesn't seem pricey now!) I went to another garden centre today and they had several brunnera varieties - Looking glass, Silver heart, Jack Frost, Alexander's great and a variegated one.

Where did you get your Cantabrigiense Geranium varities from Marlorena? I've not found them at any local garden centres, I've seen Geranium Ingwersen, Roxanne and then some other taller ones like Phaeum.

Not seen any of the Cantabrigiense which is a shame because I like the look of them and they're the right growth habit. I want low front of border.

I've seen 'Karmina' at Dobbies and I would have thought Wyevale would have one or two... but I got all mine online from here..

You only need 1 of a variety because they soon spread and to get more all you do is break off pieces and put them where you want them..

@Mr. Vine Eye I picked up 3 x GERANIUM x cantabrigiense St Ola - 9cm Pot for £2.49 each on Secret Garden Club within the last two weeks (after @Marlorena) had mentioned them.
I checked just now and they don't seem to have any in stock, but maybe worth keeping an eye out for>

This is such a popular thread - I'm having difficulty keeping up with all the posts!

  • Does the Kew gardens rose attract pollinators? It looks open so I'm hoping it would?
  • Oh goody, I can buy it without feeling guilty. Thank you
