Thanks Marlorena and Nollie - sorry I thought I was on the Rose season thread when I posted that. Lovely photos though, thank you

'Armada'.. [Harkness 1988].. a floribunda climber.. one of the rare British roses to win a German ADR trial... which means it has exemplary health.. resists all black spot, mildew, rust... the trade off is that there isn't much scent..
… a most floriferous and trouble free rose...  apart from needing support.

Beautiful foxgloves! Wish I had space for some!  I love your blush noisette as well I've often looked at that rose and wanted it. Think I read somewhere that it either doesn't repeat as well or has a short season... How do you find it?

@Ffoxglove ... thanks again.... that information you got is quite the opposite for Blush Noisette... it's a non stop blooming rose, continually producing new shoots full of buds right into late autumn... in full bloom it's scented of cloves and it wafts close by... it's always been a favourite rose for me, for a long time...  do consider it for the future ...

Here are a couple pics of 'Blush Noisette' today... a little bright in the sun... this is an historic and interesting rose... scented and always in flower through the season... 6 x 6 foot shrub, climber or rambler even..

    'Ghislaine de Feligonde'....
