Hi Marlorena, I hope yiu don't mind another random rose related question... In your opinion which of these roses might be happiest growing in partial shade on the north side:
Minerva, blue for you, chandos beauty or Margaret merril? My ancient mariner is thriving there but needs a companion.

    Many thanks!

@Ffoxglove    I would put Minerva there, as purple roses are best out of full sun... they can wilt quickly in heat and strong sun...    I'm delighted your 'TAM' is doing well for you...

Thank you @Marlorena I will do just that.
I can't wait to post pics of TAM! It's so close to blooming now....

'Lichfield Angel' opens with the most exquisite blooms usually.. later today I think..

    'Scepter'd Isle'... so wonderfully fragrant..

..why I love 'Kew Gardens'.. so light and airy..

'Zephirine Drouhin' with my favourite strain of Foxglove.. the 'Excelsior'..

..the best of my May garden.. Zephirine Drouhin/Mme Lauriol de Barny [both Bourbon roses from 1868]… with Excelsior hybrid foxgloves...

I'm past caring what neighbours think, and as part of my garden is exposed to other properties and a road, it means I am visible to many onlookers.. but as with most gardeners... the part of us most often seen is likely our backside...
...but sometimes it's nice to get up on a ladder and photograph from above... they may think me mad... but it gives another perspective to our gardens.. and I think it's fun..

'Wild Rover' from above the arch...  this is a floribunda climber...

..first flower on 'Ghislaine de Feligonde'... a rambler type rose..

    ...lots to come out..

..massive clusters on 'Blush Noisette'..  I've been getting some strange blooms and odd things happening to both roses and perennials this Spring... so apologies for the V sign given by this weird Foxglove in the middle..

Wild rover is stunning and not one I'm familiar with... Does it repeat well?

@Ffoxglove … first of all, thanks for checking in here... great to see you..
...yes it is a continuous  blooming rose.. but it does get some blackspot, but it's so vigorous that it grows through it... sometimes in August, it might even defoliate... no bother... it will quickly revitalise itself after a watering...  a wonderful rose.. I absolutely love it...

    As I posted yesterday.
Can anyone identify this climbing rose please?  I trained it last year & fed it and now much better. Starting to flower again now. This was from last year. There is a different yellow one to the left and will get a photo when it blooms.
    Thanks

@moragb1 ... I can't enlarge the photos or zoom in, so this is only a tentative guess, but it might be 'Crown Princess Margarita'...
