    Hi all.

Managed to move 50 pots of Cannas and Dahlias outside yesterday, will now spend a few days moving them around, to find the most pleasing positions for them, and then the hole digging will begin.
Chicky's versus the docs tomorrow, COYS!
Also got to fit in watching the cricket, no idea how I ever found time to work.
How can you lie there and think of England

Grey, bit of a breeze and some "mizzle" in the air. According to the outside thermometer, it's 22 degrees outside at 8.30 am,  but it certainly doesn't look like it ! Glos.

Morning all/afties Pat - glad you had a good result.  :)
I'm sure chicklet will do well. All over soon.
Pretty pic, Dove. Glad you had a grand day out - a proper 'Wallace & Gromit' as we call it in our house.  :)
The rain has gone off, at last, although it's to come back later. Think I may be lucky and get a wee walk this morning 'round the doors' without getting wet, but tomorrow is to be reasonably dry, so I may get a hill in somewhere then.
Grass will have to wait again, but it may need to be cut while it's wet as there's to be rain every day for the foreseeable. Sweet peas and mange tout are all sitting there sulking  :/

It was absolute bliss @Fairygirl ... we both enjoyed it so much ... sunshine, beer and a proper little seaside town ... hardly hedonism and debauchery but it suits us B)

@punkdoc ... it is fortunate that Dog chose thee and me to have the time to do the important things in life ... someone's got to watch the cricket now that Pa is too busy chatting to Richie Benaud in the Great Pavilion in the Sky ;)

    Morning all.
    Good news Pat.

Glad you had a lovely day, Dove. We always enjoy going to Southwold and it has happy childhood memories for me.

I'm a bit achy after yesterday's gardening but I hope to do some more, so much to do, when I've done some HW.

Thanks for good thoughts everyone. I feel much relieved, I must say. I kept thinking we’d both be on Chemo at the same time.  Serves me right for giving in to silly thoughts.

We’re off to bed now. Been watching old episodes of Murder in Paradise. Good fun because we’d forgotten the murderer each time. 😏

I think hedonism and debauchery have passed me by now, Dove. Can't say I'm not relieved  - I've got the time, but no longer have the energy or inclination  :D
I shouldn't have mentioned that the rain had gone off. It's been p*ssing down since about half nine.
I now have a leak in fairylet's bedroom ceiling. Sigh.
The clems look nice covered in raindrops though, especially the brand new Niobe flowers.
