Morning Pat.  Hope Mr P is not feeling too rubbish, and that you are both taking it easy

Not been around this week - Dad got rushed into hospital in the early hours of Monday morning, so have spent all my time by a hospital bed, on a motorway, or at work.  Thankfully he is now ok ......diagnosis took a while, but eventually found a blocked gall stone.  Removed it yesterday, and when I spoke to him yesterday afternoon he was very cheerful - a completely different man.  Yay!! Heading down to visit this afternoon.

Morning Chicky and Dove.  Chicky, sorry to hear about your father. Glad it’s been sorted, though.
Dove, he’s frustrated and bored even though he understands why. His taste buds are worse than last the chemo dose - probably cumulative effect. I’ve decided he should start calling me “Florence”. I cooked a nice chicken soup for him yesterday and he’s been enjoying helping himself to bowls whenever he gets the urge. Today I’ve made a slow cooked lamb chop stew and he’s already had a bowl full even though it’s not yet 5pm.😁👏 I was hoping he’d do that.

    Morning all .
    Hosta Hugs to @chicky and @Pat E
    Some rain overnight, at last.
The analysis , post LOCAL elections seem to be unanimous in saying Brexit is the biggest factor in the results. Given that  Brexit is nothing to do with our local councillors, surely it's time to take party politics out of LOCAL elections?
Wasn't Mrs Mayhem totally pathetic at trying to put a  positive spin in the results?

    Devon.
