So are you participating in Naked Gardening, or is that just a general comment on the weather? ;)

    Morning all.

Cold here too, but at least it isn't raining...

Hope you find your dad in good spirits today, @chicky - glad they sorted his problem quickly.

Thinking of you and OH, @Pat E.

Our overworked boiler repair engineer is back again today, with a mirror.  Apparently there's an inaccessible filter on the hot water system somewhere, which he thinks is blocked.  It will be nice - if he ever gets to the bottom of the problem - to have a shower which is normal, rather than either a) cold or b) just a dribble of hot...

In Devon they say ‘When gorse is in season, kissing’s within reason’ well, any excuse😀
We have blue sky and sunshine today (so far). I can’t wait to get outside after finishing house chores.

is there a season when "kissing within reason" isn't allowed?

That's the point Hosta ... there's always somewhere you can find a sprig of gorse in bloom ... even in the winter :D

I've got 3 layers on inside, @Dovefromabove, so naked gardening is out.
Have managed to pot on some Ricin, indoors and fed all the Cannas in the lounge.

My canna is on the terrace so that I can get into the studio ... it's in the southfacing corner and in the lee of the house and fence so hopefully it won't suffer too much ... it's a matter of priorities after all  ;)

Oo! Phormiums have flower spikes coming! They don’t always produce them.
