I thought moving from Bristol to Devon would be a move to milder winters.

    Nope

    Hi all

We are home after fantastic holiday, who would have thought we would have a week of wall to wall sunshine and temperatures of over 20 degrees, in the NW Highlands, in May.
Love to @Lily Pilly and to @Pat E and hubby.
@chicky, congratulations, I am so jealous, can I carry your bag, please?

Glad you had a good time @punkdoc I saw that the Scottish forecast was a lot better than Dordogne's forecast.

    Morning all.

There should be some time between the showers to start emptying the winter bedding into the compost and preparing the pots for summer bedding.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good morning.  Bit of a restless night last night with little sleep but coffee should help.  I'm baking yet another variation on oatmeal biscuits for patchwork - apricot and toasted cashew.   Minstrel is helping by sitting on the recipe page.......

No gardening for me till tomorrow then when I hope to get the last of the potatoes in.  They've been on hold waiting for OH to clear some space and that's had to wait for in-laws and golf and other activities.   Maybe he'll get around to building the new beds I need in the next week or so.  Still not warm here but not wet or blowy either.  Lots of stormy stuff up near Possum and environs.

Pleased you've had a good time Pdoc and hope you feel better for it.  Moira too.

    I love coffee cake Busy-Lizzie.

OH is of the firm opinion that cake 🍰 and ice cream 🍦 are medicinal 😉

So glad you and Moira had a lovely time @punkdoc 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Of course they are! The sheer pleasure alone. ...
I knew he was the man for me when we spent a day together at the seaside and he saw nothing wrong with having three ice creams ... (it was quite a long day.... but the time just flew by) 😊
