    I'm surprised no one else complains about this ;)

    Hi, not sure why folk have flagged this??

    They probably think you're selling them - your post didn't come with very much explanation and people trying to sneak in free advertisements under the guise of helpful information can be annoying. A disclaimer along the lines of "I have no connection to the company making them" and/or "other brands are available" might have helped to clarify matters  :)

    Or it could be the catophiles

    The local cats walk right up in front of me and dump, they are just like: 'deal with it'.  Shameless I tell you.

    I have wondered about this device as a deterrent in my garden for cats but always wonder if other animals are affected by it.Especially worried about hedgehogs.
    Cats eat the hedgehog food so want to deter one but not the other!
    I see it does not seem to worry birds but would like to know of others experiences with the device.

    @madpenguin

    i can't say for sure but i would imagine it would effect both.

    try something else, does ur garden have a fence? if it does put a length of fishing line or string a few inches above your fence. this makes cats think twice about walking on it or jumping over it while the hedgehogs will go under it.

    this worked for me apart from a section that i dont have a fence at, hence why i got the sonic device.

    I'm sure there must be a way to use it and hide it so the neighbours and any other passing and potentially "handy" person doesn't see it and nick it.

    Water sprays are good too but not in front gardens because paper boys/postmen and their female equivalents will be very unhappy.  Might be good for political activists after your vote and others such as Jehovah's Witnesses.............
