Pity about Adam Frost presenting next few GWs as I cannot stand his voice but he is obviously popular with others. Maybe I could put subtitles on and just turn down the sound when he is talking
at least we won't be subjected to endless shots of flippin' dogs.
Totally agree, he gets on my wick and although I like dogs I am tired of close ups of nigel.

What a shame you feel like that about Adam Frost. He appears to be one of the loveliest of people - and let's face it - we're all different. Different accents abound throughout the UK, different tones to our voices, different ways of expressing ourselves.
Anyone who is trying to educate me about gardening is a joy to my ear and eye. 😊
I love Monty and enjoy his style of gardening, so will be very sorry to see him go, if that is what is happening. However, I do feel its probably run its course and look forward to seeing the development of Adam’s garden and another gardener’s style and approach.
I know reduction of plastic waste and community garden schemes are both important, but GW is getting very repetitive and preachy on both topics. I would much rather see more in-depth features on plants, but expect I won’t, whoever the presenter is...
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

and Adam Frost has won 7 gold medals at Chelsea, that'll be 7 more than other presenters we could mention.
Dunno Hosta. He has a newish dog and his daughters have horses - but at least Adam bangs on about using their waste produce in his garden. Not keen on his accent but I think he's great and has a solid horticultural background and design pedigree.
As for palm oil - Dove is right. Home cooks don't use it, industrial food processing dose. It also goes into bio fuels, soaps, detergents........... I saw a fleeting bit of Greg Wallace's programme on supermarkets and their secretes which was explaining about Iceland's drive to eliminate palm oil form their food by 2020 and the problems of replacing it in, for example, meat pie - cost, flavour, texture. Butter, tho local, is about 10 times more expensive. Will the consumer pay for that or go to Tesco/LIDL etc??
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
"The price good men (and women) pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men (and women)."
I just enjoy the programme. Like Monty and Adam and don't mind the shots of the dogs they don't interfere with my viewing. Sorry to say, but the constant moaning about them gets on my nerves more than the waste of airtime.
