Why can't I stop buying plants?!

I'm feeling less guilty, now I have read the thread. I seem to be helpless before online nurseries. I've just ordered three gorgeous, dark pellies. But I have nowhere to overwinter plants. :s

I need this to happen to me. Went to Morrison's for bread and milk. Came out with 2 clematis, 2 bags of compost, a new pot, and a beautiful osteospermum I just couldn't leave on the shelf. Forgot the bread!

@Ericaheather I could do with that message popping up on my computer screen everytime I go to a plant website.  I just popped onto The Secret Garden Club site and ended up buying a lupin and 3 delphiniums.  I'm going to grow them in pots to foil the slugs and snails.

A game of two halves really.  Yesterday I went to Ashwoods and came out without a new plant.  Today I'm off to Webbs with a BOGOF voucher on perennials. Mmm I wonder who will win.   o:)>:)

Went to the GC ostensibly to look at lawn care items with OH (items 50% reduced, had to be done apparently).
On the way there we called at Aldi for some things for MIL. Came out with a chilli plant "Demon Red" for £2.99. No idea how that happened.
At the GC he went off to look at lawn care bargains, l found the reduced plant area (those pesky aliens again). 2 pinks reduced from £4.99 to £2.24 each. Nothing wrong with them and also loads of cuttings material.
Elsewhere another Dianthus "Peach Party" (saved 40p) and a lovely Salvia "Blue Marvel" (saved 90p) fell in the trolley while l wasn't paying attention. Together with the stuff my chauffeur bought, we saved £15.30 apparently.
Then called in at Homebase for some sand (no idea), and this pot of perfectly healthy osteospermum  (more cuttings) reduced to half price (£4) threw itself into the trolley.
    Now that's what l call a good morning 😁

@AnniD Sounds like a good day.  I've been saved - my friend doesn't want to go to Webbs today so no plant buying.

Weekly, every time I go to Morrisons I check the climbing plant stand, looking for clematis - and I mean thoroughly go through the whole thing checking every pot. I'm always looking out for something different to the ones I've already got.

Anyway today I spotted one that looked lovely, bell shaped flowers, group 3. I put it down for a second while I checked information about it on my phone - why didn't I put it in the trolley!!

A woman came through the door, instantly picked up the one I had wanted and went off with it  :o

I was devastated - it was the only one of that variety there. Snooze you lose I guess...

The thought was there in my head that if I saw her again around the shop I might try and swipe it back. Luckily I didn't see her again - so I didn't have to find out whether I would have gone through with it!  :D

I'll just have to hope that it's there again another week.

I did get a nice Alpina Frankie though to soften the blow.

    Haha nice saving @AnniD
@Mr. Vine Eye I didn't know there was a clematis called Frankie...now I shall be forced to call to Morrison's pronto to see if I can buy one. My son is called Frankie so I think it would be rude not to! (Any excuse 😜)
@Yviestevie couldn't you go alone?! You can't waste a perfectly good BOGOF voucher!
