I agree, the top one looks different and the number of canes and growth surprised me. It's 'La Belle Rouge' bred by Martin Vissers, a rose I don't know anything about, really a leap of faith ordering it but it looks like it's going to be a vigorous one.
...terrific aren't they.. and what less than half price of what they are here?.. I'm tempted to get some myself, I've just been looking through their listings again...

Lady of Shalott had an unexpected hair cut sand lost an entire cane! I’m not sure whether it was me being careless or it was already loose and I just finished it off! All in the ground anyway.

Arthur Bell is another well rated yellow which has a strong scent - also commonly available (with the less expensive roses c£4)
