@Nollie yes I will do!! My ld braithwaite still has a few weeks to go before any chance of it flowering id say but when it does I’ll make sure I compare both that and Heathcliff!
The solanum and rose combination is beautiful, @Gartener. I am always in awe of people’s rose and clematis combinations, but clematis struggles here. I may have to try that idea!

Firstly, could anyone ID this rose, I got it from a shopping channel as a bare root about 3 years ago/ This will be the first time of flowering . I cant remember what it's called. Just before the blossom burst the bud looked like it had been damaged by water but it hadn't rained. Now I'm thinking that maybe it's supposed to be like that.
I sort of remember there were princesses and queens involved in one or two but not all of the names of the plants I got if that's any help
