I’ve had a phone call from the CAS Dr who saw me on Wednesday. The results of my “poo” sample show infection from something chicken! Great. So it was food poisoning after all. There’s a script waiting for me in town for an antibiotic, in case I still need it. And of course, as usual I can’t risk leaving it another day to collect from the surgery because the weekend is nearly upon us. We’ve been into town everyday for one reason or another. 50 km return trip each time. What a drag. I’m still not right so might get the script filled anyway while I’m in there. At least I’ll have the ammunition over the weekend if I’m not better. FED UP!
Seems that you’ve gone back to sleep ... that’s nice ... I was woken by an almighty cat fight somewhere at the front of the house ... now the blackbirds are shouting at me ... 😝

Thanks Hosta and Dove. I already felt better after having a grizzle on the Forum😃 thanks.
Antibiotics collected now and first one swallowed. I’m still sucking and crunching frozen Hydralyte tubes to keep the liquid up, but tolerating the sharp headache for a bit longer. What a bloomin’ pain in the ... literally. Anyway, I’ll hopefully be ok in a day or two. It’d be nice to be feeling well by Tuesday when Hubby goes in for his first Chemo session.
Morning all, afternoon Pat hope you get well soon Thank you so much Hazel how lovely of you to say! Lovely to see you pop in and I hope your keeping very well x Have a good day all, of to work 😊
