    Most of the world's problems are caused by zeroes:  zero food, a solitary  zero in your bank account, the pursuit of zeroes in your bank account . If they used Roman numerals there would be no zeroes, this would solve the problem by those Arabs and Asians who inflicted their numerical system on us.

    And algebra!

    I dare say you need it for rocket science but I have never found a use for it in my daily life once I stopped having to take maths exams, about 50 years or so ago.

    “They” make a lot of fuss about rocket science but it’s really very easy ... all you need is a tube, sealed at one end, some fuel and a lighter ... not as complicated as they’d have us believe 🤣
