I understand that it's necessary in some situations, but I don't want to use them myself.
That's fair enough. But some of the comments when people mention weedkiller make it seem that those who need to use it don't care about the environment, and that is simply unfair and insulting.
Mirin is a syrupy seasoning used in Japanese cookery. Ricin is for poisoning people - eg the poor Bulgarian dissident stabbed with it on the end of an umbrella in Balham in 1978.
Why, when I know the difference between Ricin ( have grown the plants ) and Mirin do I find myself having an embarassing moment when I ask a SM assistant where the Ricin is ? Even worse, I continue to do this much to the amusement of my OH Â He now knows what I mean but the SM people don't

The , rather pompous , father of a friend of mine drove to the garden saying Kniphofia , kniphofia, kniphofia. Then walked in and asked where he'd find necrophilia.
