In fairness to Harry, he has made it clear for some time that he doesn't want the child to be in the limelight.
Well that didn't last very long!

Meghan like the media almost as much as Diana did.

I suspect Megan likes the media because she's savvy about using it to promote her causes, as Diana learned to be for her causes and to get back at Charles and The Firm.  The UK press will have the same rules, surely, as they have for William's children but I can't see the US press respecting them and they will be all over this trio.   I hope Harry and Megan can turn that to advantage.

Here I am, home alone so free to potter and get on with projects with no interference from OH, now-departed in-laws, sleepy dogs or cats and OH snored so loud last night all I want to do is nod off too but first to negotiate a slot on the sofa with Rasta doggy.

I don't think that Megan will be as dutiful as Kate is, probably because she's American and can't know how the Royals operate, I wouldn't be surprised if Megan and Harry end up living in the states.

not I give a hoot for any of them, but Kate is married to No 2 in line to the throne so , chances are, he'll be King one day. The chances of Harry being King are virtually non existent, so their wives have different roles to play.

I don't think she'll be dutiful at all but she will be respectful of traditions while shaking things up a bit.   Kate is also learning how the royal firm operates but has support from her husband and own family, unlike Diana.  Her priority, it seems to me, is her immediate family but she's going to have to take on more public stuff sooner or later.

I'm curmudgeonly to day because our Naff Neff dishwasher is on the blink and it'll be a week before they can get the parts to fix it.
On a plus side , Hubby says he'll do the washing up until then.

Must admit, having the 2nd dishwasher has been a boon this last week and our Bosch is so much easier to stack with glasses.  Have had to set off both every day!

Now it's the washing machine's turn.

the guy who came to look at it , agreed that Neff are a bit crap and massively over priced, but, annoyingly,  it was the only one which would fit in the space where the old one had been.

Are they not standard sizes?  Like washing machines?
