Well jokes on him, I was already awake as my son has some kind of viral throat infection and hasn't slept much all week and the owner/s obviously care enough to fit them with bells on their collars so that's something. I've been enjoying watching a wood mouse stealing bird food this morning and a vole collecting nesting material from around the stone wall so I'd hate to see them getting killed.

I thought I had the national collection of pernicious weeds in my garden @DyersEnd but I don't usually get thistles thank goodness. They would need proper thick gloves! Annoying to be ignored by a cat - so rude, the robin gave me a look which implied I should just keep digging and stop moaning. Probably got the missus on his back about the kids' tea.

Glad you managed it @islander but not a good idea to go outside in your nightie at that cold time of morning - next time we expect to hear that you at least put a coat on!!
I just sold my Landrover I needed to sell it and got more than I hoped for without even advertising it but still I'm sad to see it go and it was a really useful truck for garden stuff so it feels like cutting off a leg.
Someone is supposed to be coming to buy my car tomorrow too and then I will have to buy a sensible car.
