    Those are lovely, @bugbug  :)

Lovely. What is the dark red rose, @bugbug ?

    Thank you @Liriodendron and @Fire.

@Fire the red one is Guinee climber that I managed to pick up in a local garden centre sale for £3.50. 😊

Used to have Guinée.  Fabulous velvety flower but it died in a -25C winter.   We'd had that for a night or two in previous winters but this was 2 weeks getting that cold in Feb when the sap is starting to rise.  Fatal.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I put two Guinee in during the spring. Hurrah. Can't wait for next summer!

That’s lovely @pitter-patter. Jealous of your Astrantia - mine were seen-off by the slugs. Like the lavender-blue gyp - did you grow from seed?
My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • Thank you, @AuntyRach. I’ve grown the gypsophila from bare root. Unfortunately, as much as I like the flowers, it has grown huge and has a very sprawling habit. Most of it is now resting on the lawn. I need to find a compact version.

I couldn’t see a jam jar posies 2020 and can’t be bothered to start a new thread....but I was quite pleased with these wallflowers.  There doesn’t seem to be much online about wallflowers as cut flowers.  Anyone else doing this?
