    My first attempt. All the flowers,or rather there stalks, had been wind damaged in some way and I couldn’t bare to throw them in the garden waste. The bee seemed to share my thoughts too :smile:

    That’s very pretty, @Mariegr. I too cut the flowers that have been damaged by rain or wind and bring them inside. The pink astrantia and thalictrum (is that what it is?) look beautiful together.

    Love the fennel, AlliumPurpleSensation. I use clear tape to make a grid sometimes. Took my godmother by surprise, though: put some flowers in the guest bedroom for her, when she tried to top up the water it went all over the table! Love those rich reds, pitter-patter.
    The fennel grows like a weed in my garden and it just makes the display smell lovely.

    If you cut the peony a bit shorter so it comes nearer the rim it will give better balance.
