Hello, I’m here too, another terrible nights sleep.

  • Sorry to hear you were up last night, managed to get to sleep by 1.30am for the last few days, so can cope with that.

The mere mention of the tax return did it, for this time anyway.

Did you get the booking slot @Lyn ? I remember the stress of trying to get one, and that was a few years ago.

Even if I don't post on this thread much, it's a comfort to know that I'm not the only one awake .

@punkdoc.  sorry,  I had to keep my eye on the Tesco site,  apparently so many people waiting it overloaded the site and people were left disappointed ,  or down right angry.
when I got in there I was number 23000 but it moved quickly and I got a slot for the Wednesday.

I rarely sleep for more than an hour at a time,  I sometimes get up and make tea and toast.  At the start of these silly nights, I put it down to the fact that I was up most of the night looking after my parents when they were dying,  but dad’s been gone 6 years now so it can’t be that.   Just the way of it,  I cope ok through the day.

I was up from 1230 last night went gardening at 230, I know it's madness but I managed to sow broad beans, plant shallots, turn a compost bin, take a rake of fuschia cuttings and drink several hot chocolates. Insomnia can create opportunities 😜
