@Fire  Why are you digging up the hellebores?

I've got one that's turned sludgy. I have put in a climbing rose close by which will be an infinite improvement for the spot. Hellebores, geranium and roses are not happy bed fellows, so the other two will have to go. A friend with a large and empty front garden says she will like it. I am fond of strong, bold colours in hellebores, it turns out.

Just to let you know @AnniD @Dovefromabove @Fire
I've had another minor flair up, spent the day in hospital,  but now have my operation date on the 12th 🤞 to remove gall bladder.

Sorry to hear that @purplerallim. Fingers crossed it goes ahead on the 12th.
I'm sure the cupboards will be well stocked with hedgehog food 🦔🙂.
    Take care x

Great news @purplerallim ... well, not the flare up of course, sorry to hear about that ... but so pleased they're going to sort you out ... as I think I've said previously a friend had hers done about a year ago ........ she was back to work very quickly and the op, has quite literally, changed her life ... she looks and feels sooooooooooo much better.

Best of luck to you 🤞

Well here I am again, stuck in hospital and sleepless. It took till the 3rd May to get my op, which went well, but now even without a gall bladder I've had a flair up! Seems my pancreas has taken over the job.🙄 I will have to be on a fat free diet for six months till it calms down.🙄 I might be going home tomorrow 🤞

@purplerallim. My daughter in law had similar,  she went for a couple of years with the gall bladder problem,  she couldn’t have a spot of fat or oil or the pain would be excruciating.   She finally had it removed sometime during COVID,  but still had a little trouble after,  it did come right in the end and now she can eat anything,  she’s still stayed on the fat free diet though as she was pleased with her weight loss.
I hope you feel better soon.

I do feel better thanks @Lyn
The problem is the diet is so bland, I don't eat fish and am as likely to be set of by salad as fat.
