Not so fancy, but we have a motion sensor light ( from Lidl) I think designed for wardrobe interiors. It sits on a small table in the en-suite and provides enough light for nighttime bathroom trips. You do have to wave your arms around if you stay still for too long!Β

There's enough light even at the back of our house from the street lights at the front to manage without additional technology. I can even read the clock if I look carefully. But then, I am quite fond of carrots.

  • We have a gentle light plugged in on the landing, outside the bathroom. Occasionally, we remember to switch it on. But we can find our way around the house in the dark anyway.

Morning @B3. Yesterday evening I was busy ducking to avoid the odd bat as it swooped its way off on its nightly activities while I was finishing watering the garden pots at around 10pm, now I'm sitting here getting bombarded by moths coz all the windows are open with the current heat and the lights are on. The bats were extremely capable at avoiding a collision with me, the moths are not!
