Made up a couple of trays with compost ready to prick out tomatoes on Monday, warming up with the covers on, too wet to be outside.

Supposed to be dry today according to the BBC.  Managed to paint one panel of fence in between hail showers.  Hopefully will get out later on

Sunny but a bit windy here. Cut all the ornamental grasses back, made a couple of plant supports and started making something fro the window sill so I can have two tiers of trays as I'm running out of space, happens every year.

Nipped out again and managed half a panel before the heavens opened and  more hail descended.  I wish it would make it's bloody mind up.  I'm running out of space too Dee and I have loads of seeds still to sow, we never learn do we?

    Moved tulips
Trimmed more old clematis, collected into brown bin
    Unearthed cypress goldcrest
Dug up all the anemones and moved to the front garden under the tree
Dug up the hydrangea and moved to front corner for shelter from the sun
    Moved two sweet williams
Sprinted after toddler who’d made a bid for freedom through the open garden gate toward the road
    Went on the swings

Still got a few things to do but having a nap with said toddler

I think the plants I’ve moved will be in for a rough night but I couldn’t wait, and did a rush job

Yviestevie  I made this about 2 hrs ago from an old wooden obelisk cut it down to fit the window will do till I get a green house. You can see through the window on the left another one which is the same as I have just use. Hail has stopped and back to blue sky for now, shall I risk going into the garden well why not.

We had a dig around the box bush I want removed but in the end decided that was too big a job and it's too near the wall so OH got the chainsaw out, which promptly packed up - does anybody know if you can get replacement Black & decker batteries? The chainsaw must be at least 7or 8 years old. In the end OH did the job with the electric saw and an axe. I've covered the stumps with black plastic, covered with soil and then planted the replacement euronymus bush in front. Hope it works!
