Are you kidding in this weather? I filled the bird feeders during one respite, had to stay off the lower part of the lawn as it was squelchy.

No, apart from watching my landscapers working in the pouring rain!
Fingers crossed it's going to be better weather tomorrow, I've loads of seedlings waiting to go out.

I am going to put my seedlings out today come rain or shine. I had potted them all on into biodegradable pots weeks ago, thinking they wouldn't be in there for long (based on last year's growing pattern) and it has been so long that the pots have all turned to mush. They'll have to go in today, I'm not potting them on again. I'm just not.

I'm about to pot on my second batch of tomato seedlings and tidy up that corner of the kitchen I have been using as a propagating/seed sowing factory.  Weather still pretty grim but it all changes from Thursday - masses of planting will be going on from them!

Managed to do 30 mins before it rained. Lightly pruned a caryopteris I'd forgotten about, pulled up some Jap. Anemone shoots and cut back some plants encroaching on the drive.
