What made them exciting @GWRS 😮, and I don't think you could hold enough water to replace the butt  yourself. 😆

Decided to make the most of my positive covid result and start staining the fence.

Its taken me most of the day and I've only managed to get half done but its a start i guess.

It will definitely need a second coat when I've done the first coat on all the panels as its soaking it up more in some places than others but overall I'm impressed so far.

(‘scuse the ladders, extension lead and other bits and bobs in the bottom left, they are tidied away now)

Looks good.  Are you using brush or spray?
  • Thanks.

Im using a brush because the other half wants to keep the sleepers a natural colour thus making my life 10x more difficult.

Im just glad a third of the perimeter is a full height wall 😂

Thanks Allotment Boy. We have a large front garden as well so I was thinking of moving the CatWatch thingie there on a regular basis. As long as I can't hear it, that's the main thing.

Tidying, patching, tidying , cleaning, tidying. As the family come over tomorrow afternoon. A bit of playing with my youngest too.

I think I’ve finally found a way to hide, or at least structure my mess 🙂

Did grab a moment to see my Muscari (some of the hundreds I planted) flowering earlier than expected 🙂

Was a busy morning as little sister and family were coming over for outdoor pizza and drinks. Tied in 2 clematis. Watered the veg beds. Planted a tray each of multi sown beetroot and spring onions, either fleeced over or put poly carbonate over. Tidied up around the whole garden mainly empty pots that had blew out of the lay down area and wood.

Me & OH have spent most of the day in the garden.  Weeding,  more pruning and general tidying.  How is it the most difficult weeds always manage to get a hold in the most inaccessible spot in the middle of plants you want to keep.?
