Planted out verbena, a beech sapling, and purple love grass. Divided a couple of huge polyanthus plants, split them into 8 so got 16 from 2 plants. Hoed all the perennial beds a serious issue of scotch thistle and fennel seedlings is trying to get out of hand. Built half of the pizza oven base.

Pricked out tomatoes,  potted on hanging basket plants ,sowed sunflowers and cornflowers. Dug up two clumps of bearded iris and divided . Only discovered it was Naked Gardening Day when I'd finished (just as well, l think the neighbours are under enough pressure as it is B) ).

Huge day for us. We planted 46 griselinia in our long border today. I hope they all take.

Also planted my allium summer beauty.

Highlight of the day was finding some sweet woodruff growing in one of the stone walls. Slightly annoyed that I had paid for some of those to plant in the white / shade garden but pleased to have found some more. Pulled them out, potted them up and will move them to their final position soon.

    Super tired now!

Finished sorting the greenhouse. Even planted out some tomatoes in there as the thermometer said it had been warm enough for the last week.  Good job as some were getting very big.

Pulled some lawn weeds, trimmed a straggly section of hedge encroaching on my large fig tree, planted peas into a tub (and did cane supports) and general pottering.

Planted up some of my pots and relocated gone over tulips from pots to garden.  Filled up some new troughs with compost ready to plant and moved plants from greenhouse to coldframe and the last of the plants from the conservatory window ledge have finally gone into the greenhouse.  Nice to get my dining room back.

Did a couple of hours in the school garden I look after - hard work as I hadn't been since February. Lots of bramble pulling, cutting back and weeding. Thinking of giving it up soon.

Did some more work breaking up concrete path. Dyeing the resulting rubble, sealing it and then placing it in my gabion planter. Also lined it with plastic and I have been merrily sewing it into the gabion with wire. There I was thinking I might finish it this weekend 😝.
Then potted up some strawberries in pots rather than the hanging planters I ordered. I’m pretty sure I dreamed I ordered them anyway.
None of it was done in the nude as  I currently have no trees just a collection of 8 stumps last time I counted.
    lovely weather for it though.
