    @Obelixx too much of it now, I have to learn to live with it, I cut it right down to the ground in the late winter, it’s up about a foot already.  Impossible to dig out.

    My father always said, "1 hour of proper rain does more good than you can do all day with hose or a can" I am not saying he was the first to come up with that but it is certainly true.

    Lovely story, @islander!  I liked the last bit about her being too happy to do housework...  I feel the same most of the time...

    I am writing this on a bright shiny new laptop I've just bought.  My tablet had given up the ghost.  Finding it a bit tricky to navigate around the screen, but I daresay I'll learn to love it.

    I didn't notice that one. Must go back and have a look!!
    I thought this kind of snake oil advertising was illegal, but it's fun to read.
    They also advertise fruit trees that produce all year round.
