@KT53 I think you are totally wrong.
I think our young have a very good idea what is going on and we should feel guilty about the world we are leaving them.
How can you lie there and think of England

I was becoming concerned -to say the least - about the supine nature of modern youth. There's hope for us yet!

Changed 4 double plugs to new ones with USB ports today , went better than hoped 😊
And sorted seeds packets while listening to radio 📻
Unfortunately will listen to 10-00 clock new

Even if they live 10 miles from school.
Criticising the young, is just to make us feel better about how we are wrecking the world.
The old certainly didn't consider the young when voting for BREXIT.

I'm glad to see them angry instead of cowed whether I agree with them or not. In this instance they have every right.

My new compost bin has just been delivered, birthday present from 'im indoors..  I'm relishing the gloriously mucky task of emptying the old one into the new one, but it will have to wait for better weather; today being wild, wet and windy. It's going to be challenging to find enough material to keep two filled, especially as the new one is bigger.  I shall have to cut the grass oftener. Off now to shred some paper!

    Wise words as ever.

When I was 19 , working in a garden centre on a minimal wage, I was able to buy a flat, a grotty flat without a bathroom, but grants were available. Neither affordable flats, nor grants available for 19 year olds now.
My daughter is 30 this year,  a good degree, a very good job and a good salary. She's spending £1,350 to rent an ex council , one bed flat in Brixton.
    Let's compare and contrast!
    Devon.

That’s what I did GWRS ... amazing how they want to keep you when you tell them you can get the same elsewhere for quite a bit less 👍

My white magnolia stellata is looking distinctively pinkish this year - looks rather lovely from the sitting room window.
